Hi. I am currenly enrolled in my honours year in psychology. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree at Melbourne University majoring in psychology and zoology in 2005. I found both areas of study to be immensely interesting and enjoyable, but.. I had to choose one, so here I am! I love love LOVE animals so I am very happy to have human-animal interaction as the research area for my 4th year project.

This study aims to determine if personality dimensions can be measured in cats. At the moment, Dr. Jacqui Ley is studying dog personality measures based on the Five Factor Model of personality that is applied to humans. Her method(s) will be employed and in addition, we will attempt to correlate cat-owner satisfaction to cat personality to see which traits make the happiest owners :). I hope to better understand cats and their behaviour, as well as what makes them special and appeal to people as good pets through this study.

I have two cats of my own - Kooky is a 2 year old ragdoll and Crazy is a 5 month old british shorthair cross domestic. I also have a 4 year old silver tabby back home in Malaysia. As you can probably tell, I am one of those weird cat people.
